This was a fun one! With just one line recorded on set, the mission of creating a convincing soundscape was set by director Josh Cohen.
Sound design sat within the realms of reality but with an added comical direction. The mum was to silence everything with her stare, the paparazzi school kids were to be bowled over by Ali’s skills and Bob’s appreciation of Heinz mayo was to almost cause an earthquake outside. All dramatically over the top scenarios, but all great fun to recreate with sound design.
Musically, this one was a combination of bespoke compositions and a 3rd party licensed Vivaldi movement. ‘UKG’ is available to license on our library.

We’re proud to be part of 1% for the Planet, whose members contribute at least one percent of their annual revenue to environmental causes.
Our job involves a fair bit of overseas travel, and we wanted to use our membership to lessen our carbon footprint. Given this, we’ve chosen to donate to The Woodland Trust, who are tirelessly planting trees, bringing ancient woodlands back to life and protecting forests from decimation.
