Produced by The 119 Studio, this raw, textural film for Veganuary was great fun to work on.
Referencing a track by Brockhampton, the music for the film wanted to have an edge to it. Loads of distortion & saturation to add as much texture as possible and give the instruments a live, recorded by a vintage mic and slammed through compression, quality to it.
Sound design is more subtle in this to give music the leading role in the soundscape. Frying pans, kitchen noise and the walla of diners enjoying their time in the restaurant are the main sounds to be heard. The mix is ‘in your face’ to give the idea of Veganuary a youthful edge to it and we’re really pleased with the results!
