Music & Sound for RNIB’s latest TV campaign.
Capturing the correct tone for the film was carefully considered. Ensuring it carries emotion and uncertainty but doesn’t fall into a sombre and negative world. The piano progression gives a sense of optimism and hope for the future as the film progresses.
Sound design plays with filtering dialogue and sound design to show the protagonist moving in and out of focus as the news of her uncertain future becomes more apparent.
Certain sounds are emphasised in the mix as her confidence grows and the charity’s support worker’s voice grounds the sound of the film to the work they are doing.
