MUSIC
Orillo films were looking for an emotive soundtrack with notes of Brazilian influence. Referencing the music of ‘Watchtower of Turkey’ by Leonardo Dalessandri, we suggested that taking our library song ‘Dawn’ as a starting point and adapting it could be an effective route to take.
We added carnival inspired rhythms and regional instruments from Brazil throughout the piece, climaxing with a dramatic, beat focussed section including a South American trumpet melody.
The adaptations took ‘Dawn’ away from its original state and into a new tone that fit the visuals perfectly and Orillo’s brilliant use of sound design really polished off the final film.
‘Brazil’ is available to license on our library.
