MUSIC & SOUND DESIGN
For this M&S campaign, the music had to be fun, quirky and high in energy! Having worked with our filmmaker / jazz drummer friend, Sam in the past, we knew his style and skills would be a perfect fit.
So with Yussef Dayes references to hand, he laid down some solo drum performances which perfectly captured the mood we wanted. The visuals were cut to the track, allowing for a dynamic edit to emphasise the excitement of the music.
Sound design was minimal, adding effects to certain key moments like the clapperboard which became a theme of the film, the wind machine and the telephone. The addition of background voices on set added to the rough-and-ready feeling of the film.

Our job involves a fair bit of overseas travel, and we wanted to use our membership to lessen our carbon footprint. Given this, we’ve chosen to donate to The Woodland Trust, who are tirelessly planting trees, bringing ancient woodlands back to life and protecting forests from decimation.
