MUSIC & SOUND DESIGN

Director Josh Cohen contacted us to create the soundtrack & sound design on his piece for Puma Golf.

With the aim of adding to the bold characters of the film’s subjects, the music is heavily influenced by British Grime and had to be adaptable to a number of deliverable lengths. The heavy brass and deep sub-bass goes against the traditional, conservative nature of the golf course setting and brings the sport to a whole new level of attitude!

The sound design wanted to feel authentic to the environment, but exaggerate the golf hits and the models’ attitudes on the course. The subjects’ voice parts were recorded after the shoot with a voice artist and dubbed on the visuals to sit accurately on the picture and the end result is an effective atmosphere that boosts the impact of the film.
