Music and Sound Design for FERA “The Urban Fly”, directed by Joel Barney.
We were excited to get stuck into this one after seeing a rough cut, going heavy on diegetic sound to recreate the chaotic sounds of London. Distant sirens, construction work and the occasional dog bark creates a background ambience for the actions to sit on top of.
Inspiration for the brand ident’s sound design came from old VHS skate films that have seen better days, degraded and wobbly with a cartoonish charm.
